Night.
Night suspends the physical activities, but it is no hindrance to Consciousness which is constant awareness.
In the pitch dark night nothing is visible. Man is not able to see his own body. The dust fallen on it is not cognized. Still the self cognizes itself. It requires no external light. This inner light is a spark of the Cosmic Light. Night cannot veil it.
Lord, may I be anchored in the Self which remains unaffected by night or day.

Noche.
La noche suspende las actividades físicas, pero no es un obstáculo para la Conciencia, que es constante percepción.
En la oscuridad total de la noche, nada es visible. El hombre no es capaz de ver su propio cuerpo. No reconoce el polvo que cae sobre él. Aun así, el ser se reconoce a sí mismo. No necesita luz externa. Esta luz interior es una chispa de la Luz Cósmica. La noche no puede ocultarla.
Señor, que pueda anclarme en el Ser que permanece inafectado por la noche o el día.
