Desire.
It is desire when a man seeks to own what is not his own. Desire is the motive power that derives man into the meshes of life.
Desire is constantly shifting. In babyhood the desire is for toys. In childhood it is for play. In adolescence it is for adornment. In maturity it is for mating. In ripe age it is for acquisition. In old age it is for preserving life. The desire for deathlessness is constant.
When a man abandons all the desires of the heart and is satisfied in the Self by the Self, then he is said to be one stable in wisdom.

Deseo.
Es deseo cuando un hombre busca poseer lo que no es suyo. El deseo es la fuerza motriz que lleva al hombre a las redes de la vida.
El deseo cambia constantemente. En la infancia, el deseo es por juguetes. En la niñez, por jugar. En la adolescencia, por adornos. En la madurez, por apareamiento. En la edad madura, por adquisiciones. En la vejez, por preservar la vida. El deseo de inmortalidad es constante.
Cuando un hombre abandona todos los deseos del corazón y se satisface en el Ser por el Ser, entonces se dice que es estable en sabiduría.
