Fortification.
A fortified city is free from the danger of being attacked by the enemy. Man’s mind has to be similarly fortified against the invisible enemies.
Lust, greed, anger and hatred are the enemies wrecking the career of man. They are capable of invasion at any time. When the mind falls into their hands man is ruined. It has to be therefore properly fortified. When the defence is strong the enemy beats a retreat.
Fortification constructed of self-control and universal love makes the mind impregnable to the foe.

Fortification.
Une ville fortifiée est à l’abri du danger d’être attaquée par l’ennemi. L’esprit de l’homme doit être fortifié de la même manière contre les ennemis invisibles.
La luxure, l’avidité, la colère et la haine sont les ennemis qui détruisent la carrière de l’homme. Ils sont capables d’invasion à tout moment. Lorsque l’esprit tombe entre leurs mains, l’homme est ruiné. Il doit donc être correctement fortifié. Lorsque la défense est forte, l’ennemi bat en retraite.
La fortification construite sur la maîtrise de soi et l’amour universel rend l’esprit imprenable à l’ennemi.

Fortificación.
Una ciudad fortificada está libre del peligro de ser atacada por el enemigo. La mente del hombre tiene que ser fortificada de manera similar contra los enemigos invisibles.
La lujuria, la codicia, la ira y el odio son los enemigos que arruinan la carrera del hombre. Son capaces de invadir en cualquier momento. Cuando la mente cae en sus manos, el hombre está arruinado. Por lo tanto, tiene que ser fortificada adecuadamente. Cuando la defensa es fuerte, el enemigo se retira.
La fortificación construida con autocontrol y amor universal hace que la mente sea inexpugnable para el enemigo.
