TAINT
Contact with unwanted thing creates taint. The removal of a taint is harder than the restraint of it.
There is no harm in things getting tainted. They can be redressed as a matter of course. But the character of man should on no account be tainted. Even the taint made innocently lingers long in memory.
Divinity in taint is the human. The human free from taint is the Divinity.
